Ingredients

  • Pillsbury Grands Flakey Layers Biscuits, 8ct

  • 2lb 80/20 ground beef

  • 2 tbsp Tony Chachere’s

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1 1/2 tbsp worcestershire sauce

  • 4 slices American cheese

  • 1 large onion

  • Pinch of Tony Chachere’s

  • Iceberg lettuce (shredded)

  • Clear

Directions

Pillsbury Flaky Layers Biscuits:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. If you’re using a nonstick cookie sheet, you can preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. Place the biscuits on an ungreased cookie sheet, leaving 1–2 inches of space between each biscuit.
  3. Bake for 13–17 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.

Burger Patties:

  1. While biscuits are baking, in a larger mixing bowl combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, and Tony’s Chachere’s seasoning. Mix until well combined and divide into 8 portions shaped into the size of a golf ball.
  2. Heat 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Using parchment paper, smash 4 patties in heated skillet; cook 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until no longer pink in center.
  3. Transfer cooked patties to plate; cover with foil to keep warm. Repeat with remaining patties balls. In the same pan add chopped white onions to the pan and sprinkle Tony’s Chachere’s seasoning- let it cook until onions become translucent.
  4. Transfer sautéed onions container. Place half slice of cheese onto each patty and place in the pan until cheese melts.
  5. Split biscuits horizontally. Drizzle mustard on top and bottom half of biscuits.
  6. Place a handful of lettuce on the bottom half of the biscuit, add 2 or 3 hamburger patties, top with sautéed onions and place the top layer of the biscuit.
